They Sound Great With No Mufflers.

LRC's kid doesn't know what a semi is. I told him that a 'semi-truck' is one that's missing wheels. I wanted to send her some truck videos to show him what a semi is. I still need to take her for a ride some time. My big gray monster sounds a lot like this one, except it's lacking the jake:

This is what I really wanted to send (CW McCall was a pseudonym, right?):

If that isn't enough (for Ronny), you can watch the entire damn movie on YouTube here. Check it out...starring Kris, with Ernest Borgnine as "Dirty Lyle" (related to the dutch oven, maybe?), and directed by Sam Peckinpah (one of my favorites), of all people...it HAS to be better than Black Dog...surely the soundtrack is cooler, and it's got cool old trucks.

There are a bunch of truck videos on the YouTube. I'm sort of obsessing about the road trains (they do it different down under). One rarely sees triples here in the U.S. (mostly that stretch of 80 between Wyoming and Nevada), but those are short triples---they aren't screwing around in the outback. Once I've had enough of this, I'd love to drive on the wrong side of the road across the continent.
